The Rondo’s interior is quiet, comfortable, and ergonomically spot-on for the most part. The driver’s position is good, augmented by a tilt-only steering wheel. Our routes resulted in roughly an hour of driving time per leg, and there were no stiff backs or cramped legs to report. The arm rests are evenly placed and properly padded for sharp elbows. There were two barriers to driving bliss. First was intrusive wind rush around the A-pillar and outside mirror that cropped up at low freeway speeds. The second was the placement of the air conditioning vents on the driver’s side; it was hard to find a compromise between keeping us cool and avoiding knuckle frostbite.
