I can't possibly go into detail about everything I dislike about the Navigator, so I'll focus on one small, minor aspect: The remote key fob. This is the same fob that Ford Motor Company has been using for the past, oh, at least 15 years or so. Square, ribbed, with four small rubber buttons and a Lincoln logo molded in, it's as classy as the plastic champagne glasses at cousin Cletus's fifth wedding. It's also emblematic of what the Navigator fundamentally is: A lot of luxury nonsense tacked onto an underachieving Ford product. Buried deep underneath is a competent chassis, but that small positive is at the end of a long list of negatives.
